Premiere of “Invisible Epidemic,” by Román Varela, the series that won the award for best digital project in Galician at the last edition of the festival. The first three episodes will be presented, and we will be joined by the director, cast, and technical team.

Sinopsis: Mental health is one of the great challenges of our time and must be addressed by its protagonists. Epidemia Invisible builds, through various first-person witnesses, a choral and vitalist story about the impact of the diagnosis that places society in front of the mirror.

ROMÁN VARELA

Román Varela is a journalist specialized in political and social communication. While in University he started a project on Galician politics, Carretando, as part of his promoter group. He worked in communication offices of different organizations and collaborated in the development of audiovisual projects. Director of ‘Invisible Epidemic’, a documentary series about mental health in Galicia addressed from a first-person perspective.
