Estela Ortiz and Juan Evaristo Valls Boix will analyze David Lynch’s iconic magnum opus, which, more than thirty years after its release, continues to captivate television fans. The series seeks to unravel the murder of Laura Palmer, a popular student at Twin Peaks High School, gradually immersing us in a dreamlike and surreal atmosphere where the viewer, guided by investigator Dale Cooper, discovers the dark secrets of the mysterious town.
Estela Ortiz is a cultural analyst and communicator, specializing in audiovisual culture, digital culture, and feminism. She currently hosts the podcast ‘Club de Serias’ on Radio Primavera Sound. On YouTube, she creates video essays analyzing diverse cultural phenomena such as Y2K, heteropessimism, and cryptobros.

Juan Evaristo Valls Boix is a writer and professor of Philosophy of Culture at the Complutense University of Madrid. He holds two doctorates, one in Contemporary Philosophy and the other in Literary Theory, and is a member of the Post-Foundational Contemporary Thought research group. His research focuses on laziness and the rejection of work in late capitalism, with particular attention to the politics of affect and contemporary French philosophy.
