Pazo da Cultura
Cultural creator María Yáñez will propose, live and through her personal experience, a journey from the beginnings of the internet in Galician language until the arrival of the social networks. An overview of how the first connections arrived in the 90s, the first websites in Galician, the first digital media, the first social content platforms, which were born from grassroots, collectively and with two main motivations: the playful and the activist.
María Yáñez Anllo (Lugo, 1978) has been working as a journalist in digital media for two decades, developing audiovisual content for the Internet and designing online communication strategies for different cultural projects. She currently directs the digital magazine VINTE, from which she produces various video, podcast and multimedia content for web and networks, and through vinte.media she channels her work as a communication and content consultant, specializing in film promotion and distribution.
