All activities are free, except for 'Bimboficadas' and 'Pop y muerte", that require ticket booking.
Surviving in Galician on social media
Creating Galician content for social media: a conscious decision or an act of faith? In this conversation, Prado Rúa and Konachadas discuss algorithms, hate, opportunities, and why, despite everything, they continue to complain about viral content. An hour to display what little shame they have left and share a bit of gossip.
Radically online – Activism in social networks
This creative activism workshop is an accelerator of activist projects, conducted by Marina García Canedo, creator and strategist at teta&teta and a reference in political communication and digital culture.

This is not science fiction: AI and work in digital media
It’s impossible to talk about the digital world in 2026 without mentioning artificial intelligence. What seemed like science fiction just a few years ago is now part of everyday life for anyone with internet access. These new tools and language models, such as Claude, ChatGPT, GeminAI, Grok, and Midjourney, have as many supporters as detractors.
Podcasts in Spain: a golden age or the reign of conversation?
At Carballo Interplay we’ve been discussing the podcasting sector for years, analyzing its trends and inviting creators to speak. This time, we want to better understand where we stand. It seems unbelievable to talk about a crisis when there are almost more podcasts than people, but… what kind of podcasts are being produced today? In the age of conversation, often featuring celebrities, there are fewer and fewer investigative, analytical, or even narrative projects. Great creations like “The Great Blackout” are a thing of the past; we’re in an era where all podcasts sound similar, and the industry rarely invests in in-depth work and creativity. Is this true, or is it just a social perception because they go viral less?
New voices: this is no longer just about telling stories
New media face a clear challenge: carving out a niche in an ever-expanding landscape, battling algorithms that don’t always make it easy.
Pitching.

BIMBOFICADAS
Bimboficadas is a podcast hosted by Samantha Hudson, singer and Gen Z icon, and María Barrier, journalist and actress. They’ve been friends since their first day of high school and have now set out to conquer the audio world with this charismatic project that humorously dissects controversial topics, current events, and political and social issues.
Sex and the city
Nostalgia is key in these turbulent times, and many online have chosen to find refuge in their favorite TV series. This is the case for Raquel Piñeiro, journalist and author of the book “A Country on Screen: Spain Through Film and TV Series,” and her friend Patricia Blanco, a teacher. These two women from Pontevedra decided to start a podcast in which they would analyze, episode by episode, the series Sex and the City. In this edition of Carballo Interplay, they will offer us a special live program (something never before seen in Galicia!) talking about the adventures of Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda “with unexpected references to Pontevedra.”
Scroll, scroll, STOP. The new rules of disclosure
It’s becoming increasingly difficult to be heard online. Between the overabundance of platforms, convoluted algorithms, bots, and AI, finding quality content created by people and effectively communicated seems almost impossible. Amidst this chaos, some particularly skilled content creators stand out, managing to convey their areas of expertise with a unique voice.
Little Internet
Although we have always been INTERNET LOVERS, there is an internet that we still don’t like. The darker, more hostile or violent one, which directly affects mental health and participation in networks. And that makes many people abandon the spaces they occupy for their transformation.
I’LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS. TWIN PEAKS
This year, the festival will feature a live discussion between Estela Ortiz and Juan Evaristo Valls Boix, in which they will analyze the series ‘Twin Peaks’.
PLOT TWINS. Duplicated by script
The Audiovisual Source Code is a hybrid format between a conference and a screening, in which a curator is invited to select and comment on fragments of immersive audiovisual works that have marked their culture and their way of understanding the world. Because memories are fragments of a living archive that we are constantly producing and reinterpreting.
Pop y Muerte
One of the live podcasts that will be enjoyed at this edition is Pop y Muerte, a project about popular culture now in its fifth season. Kiko Amat (1971) and Benja Villegas (1982) met working on radio shows five years ago and haven’t stopped talking since. Natural-born podcasters, these two sons of the Barcelona suburbs share their passion for subculture, punk rock, unabashed geekiness, and quality clothes.
Pantis live
Pantis presents his second album, memoria nova (2025), a panorama with blurred boundaries between what has been lived, what has been intuited and the blind spots of what has not been witnessed.
Awards
This year’s awards ceremony will be hosted by Lorena Iglesias, a friend of the festival. In the 2020 online edition, she dared to perform her show Necroshow entirely online but live, and also participated in the panel “Funny Aunties: A Review of the Barricades of Female Comedy.” She returned in 2021 as a jury member and to finally perform a live, ad hoc show called “Pochosfera: Painful Moments of the Internet”. And now she’s back to present “Millennial Mal”, the series she created. Incidentally, we’ve already seen her present the festival’s awards.
Monkey Mambo Club sesión vermú
The guys from Monkey Mambo play all kinds of styles, from the 50s and 60s onwards. They’re mainly focused on Black music, R&B, Black Rockers, Early Soul, and Boogaloo, but also Exotica, Beat, Garage, Surf, Psychedelia, as well as Power Pop, 77′ Punk, and of course, a bit of Ye-Ye.
