Digital self-defense kit. With FemBloc
The purpose of this workshop is to make digital sexist violence visible and provide tools to combat it, through a visual guide that offers essential tools and resources to confront digital sexist violence from a feminist and empowerment perspective. Because what happens online is also real, and has an impact outside of our screens.
Screening. Serie “Dieciocho”
One of this year’s screenings will be the series “Dieciocho,” produced and distributed by RTVE and directed by Hammudi Al-Rahmoun Font and Damià Serra. The series, starring Maël Rouin-Berrandou and Alícia Falcó, explores the prejudices surrounding immigration and how they affect the loneliness of the young protagonists.
Discovering Galician videogames. With MUVI
We cannot talk about Galician audiovisual without mentioning the world of video games, and MUVI is the first museum opened in Spain dedicated to its history. The Galician Video Game Museum Foundation arose from the need to claim video games as a form of culture and art, linked to the virtues of the playful side of the human being. MUVI is the result of a claim process and a concrete vision on the potential of this medium, transversal, rigorous and integrative.
Presentation and screening of BIBOPALULA, the first musical cartoon in Galician

SHOW. Non saímos do lixo
“Non saimos do lixo” (We can’t get out of trash) is a sketch show in Galician. After a first season in 2010-12, it returns in 2024, now also exploring more formats: live shows, podcasts…
ZONA PRO. Addicted to true crime. With Sofá, manta y crimen; La crónica oscura and Spotify Podcast
There’s no arguing the point: we thrive a good mystery and we are fascinated by understanding human evil. The world of true crime is experiencing one of its finest moments, fueled by the success of the now-classic Catalan drama “Crims.” We want to discuss the format, the style, the setting, and the ethical conflicts through two Galician projects awarded by Spotify’s Radar Podcast initiative: “Sofá Manta y Crime” and “La crónica oscura.” We’ll also be joined by the Spotify Podcast team to analyze this phenomenon at the industry level.
The tweet, Oliveira, and his roots. The impact of Real Club Celta de Vigo’s communication on the feelings of Galician society.
In 2021, Radio Vigo’s Twitter account asked its followers which artist should compose Celta’s centenary anthem. The four options given were Iván Ferreiro, Siniestro Total, Carlos Núñez, and Eladio, but no one expected C. Tangana, an internationally renowned artist, to decide to volunteer.
ZONA PRO. Podcast. “As if we were O Faiadshhhh…”
O Carballo Interplay plays a vital role at the Galician level when it comes to supporting and promoting new creators. An example of this is the podcast O Faiado, a project created in 2023 by students of journalism and audiovisual communication, to comment on current events in Galician and international pop culture, as well as comment on trends, reflect and, above all, have a good laugh.

In this edition more than ever we want to vindicate the Galician language and the people who decide to use and defend it in their day-to-day lives, and within those people, paleo-speakers and neo-speakers, we find curious cases like that of Andy Chichester, an American professor who decided to learn the language and start using it on his social networks, winning the affection of the Galician internet.
Rajando with… Facu Díaz and Miguel Maldonado
Our usual section “Rajando con…” has Facu Díaz and Miguel Maldonado as protagonists this time. The present is the main focus and they will proceed to tear it apart in a show worthy of witnessing live.

Down with work!
The profession of content creation is complicated. The Internet, social networks, media and cultural spaces are always demanding new products, causing many creators to live with frustration at the incongruity of making speeches about criticism of capitalism and hyperproductivity while being their own worst bosses. Can you make a living from creation without self-exploitation? Are our best hours of the day – and of life – occupied by work?
Communicating in diversity
With an increasingly hostile internet and the rise of reactionary, misogynistic, and racist far-right movements, it’s more important than ever to communicate with diversity.
Keep It Cutre live
One of the podcasts you can listen to live this year is Keep It Cutre, the anti-podcast created by Albanta San Román and Ángela Henche. “Why do things right when you can do them regularly?” is their mantra, and they both describe their project as a conversation between friends where they “talk a lot.”

Nobody could live here. With Ana Polo
From the creators of “The Right Price” comes “Nobody can live here”, the quiz show to guess rental prices. Ana Polo curates a selection of the best real estate websites so we can all play the game of guessing the (surely exorbitant) prices of the latest available properties.
Awards hand out
This year’s awards ceremony was presented by two of the festival’s most beloved figures: Miguel Canalejo and Belén Puime.
