In the midst of bot fights and hate speech, Pantube has been born. The name refers to the Anglo-Saxon “breadtube”, a movement of left-wing digital content creators where video essay references such as Contrapoints, Lindsay Ellis and Abigail Thorn may be found. In the case of the Spanish version, Pantube functions as an independent collective designed to provide support, dissemination and mutual aid to creators who seek to combat racist, sexist, classist and LGBTBIphobic media hegemony. UNA Project, Alba Lafarga and Oriol (Infusión Ideológica) tell us more.

Proyecto Una. Millennial collective with the task of unmasking the new forms of fascism that hide under seemingly harmless symbolism, as well as recognizing and giving value to the feminist alliances forged through pixels. Internet analysts and authors of the essay Leia Rihanna and Trump, How feminism has transformed pop culture and how machism reacts with terror.

Oriol Erausquin (Infusión Ideológica). His profile on Twitter and Instagram traffics with anti-capitalist memes and spreads degrowth ideas, denouncing youth precariousness and the luxuries of the elites. He recently launched the podcast Tajos Verdes, on the same topics. He shares video essays on YouTube where he analyzes, critiques and spreads the word about broader socio-political issues. Oriol graduated in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and currently works at the FPU in the Institute of Philosophy of the CSIC and the UCM, from where he is pursuing a doctorate in sociology on disinformation and far-right conspiracy theories.
